Multiple Agencies Extinguish Fire in Milton

Crews from Milton, Bedford, and Madison Fire Departments worked several hours to get the fire under control.

(Milton, Ky.) – On Saturday, June 27, crews with Milton Fire and Rescue were dispatched to the report of a structure fire at 729 Fisher Ridge Rd. in Milton.

Upon arrival, crews found a single-story residence fully engulfed in flames.

Crews from Milton, Bedford, and Madison Fire Departments worked several hours to get the fire under control.

The occupants were able to escape the residence due to smoke detectors alerting them and waking them up. The owners of the residence were able to escape without injuries.

Due to the extent of the fire damage, the exact cause could not be determined but is believed to be an electrical fire. The residence and items insider were a total loss.
