(Madison, Ind.) - In the early hours of June 22, the Madison Police Department arrested three on multiple charges.
The traffic stop was initiated by Madison Police Officer Joe Gibson. Patrolman Gibson was stopped at the intersection of Clifty Drive and H. Nichols Drive when the vehicle operated by Kaylee Mahoney, 18, of Madison pulled up next to him.
Patrolman Gibson noticed the driver's head slumped down, and she then failed to proceed through the intersection as the light turned green.
As Patrolman Gibson circled back around to check on the driver, Mahoney proceeded slowly through the intersection and was driving erratic, a traffic stop was then initiated.
Kaylee Mahoney was charged with Operating While Intoxicated, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Paraphernalia.
Her two passengers Logan Edgington, 18, of Madison, and Josef W. Stevens, 18, of Hanover were also arrested.
