MORE METH OFF THE STREETS AS ADDISON IS SENTENCED

Sentenced to twelve years

On Tuesday, October 8, 2019, Erin Addison was sentenced to twelve (12) years fully served at the Indiana Department of Correction. Addison was convicted of Possession of Methamphetamine, a Level 4 Felony.

The conviction was the result of an investigation by the Indiana State Police that began on January, 11, 2019. State troopers were investigating drug activity at 415 Emmons Street, Lot 40. A search of the residence led to the discovery of a purse belonging to Addison that contained three plastic bags containing methamphetamine, including one bag that contained over 22 grams of meth.

Following the investigation, Prosecutor David Sutter said, “This was a significant amount of methamphetamine and I am thankful it is now off the streets and out of our community.”

Thank you to the Indiana State Police for their investigative work and ongoing efforts in getting this dangerous drug out of Jefferson County.
