(Milton, Ky.) – It was a bust Sunday for the crews at Milton Fire and Rescue as they responded to a fire and an accident.
Around 12:30 p.m. crews responded to the report of a fire at a residence in Milton. Upon arrival, crews found heavy smoke coming from the rear of the property outside of the residence. Crews worked several hours moving the trash out of the way to extinguish the fire.
The residence did receive damage to the rear outside, but fire crews were able to contain it. The cause has not been determined but appears to be electrical in nature.

Later in the day, crews responded to the Dirty Turtle Offroad Park, for the report of an offroad vehicle accident. Upon arrival, crews found the offroading vehicle had flipped several times and both occupants were injured.
The female passenger was flown to the University of Louisville for her injuries, the male driver refused treatment and transport.
