(Milton, Ky.) – It was a bust Sunday for the crews at Milton Fire and Rescue as they responded to a fire and an accident.

Around 12:30 p.m. crews responded to the report of a fire at a residence in Milton. Upon arrival, crews found heavy smoke coming from the rear of the property outside of the residence. Crews worked several hours moving the trash out of the way to extinguish the fire.

The residence did receive damage to the rear outside, but fire crews were able to contain it. The cause has not been determined but appears to be electrical in nature.
