The school also announced that they will be offering meals during the eLearning process.
(Milan, Ind.) – Like many schools around the area, Milan Schools will start eLearning beginning on Monday, November 23, and will continue with the eLearning model until Monday, December 7.
The school stated that they will be moving to the eLearning model due to an increased number of COVID-19 cases in the county that has impacted the schools. The Superintendent of Milan Community Schools stated that the school continues to be a safe place, but due to the prediction that there will be a spike in positive cases after the holiday, the school will be going virtual to lessen the chance for positive cases to come into the schools.
At this time all students will be moving to the eLearning model, your child’s principal will be sending specific direction for your child so they will know when assignments will be posted daily. If you have any questions or have any connectivity issues, you are asked to contact your child’s principal via phone or email.

Pick-up or delivery will be taking place beginning on Monday, November 23 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. and then will continue Monday, November 30, and again on Wednesday, December 2.
Meal sacks will contain:
On Mondays: Monday breakfast & lunch, Tuesday breakfast & Lunch, Wednesday breakfast
On Wednesday: Wednesday lunch, Thursday breakfast & lunch, Friday breakfast & lunch
At this time, all sports practices and games are scheduled following the guidelines set forth by the Ripley County Health Department.
