Two injured
Carroll Co. Sheriff Phillip Marshall received a call around 12:30 yesterday afternoon on a helicopter crashing on a farm on Marvin Chapel Road, about three miles east of Carrollton.
The pilot and passenger were taken to Carroll Co. Hospital to be checked.
The two were inspecting power lines for the Ohio Valley Electric Company when they encountered a mechanical failure while aboard the helicopter. Marshall said it was more of a hard landing than a crash.
