Mayor Courtney Gives Health Update, Encourages Residents To Get COVID-19 Tested

(Madison, Ind.) – Mayor Courtney released a statement today regarding his health, and his wife Tammy’s health following her positive COVID-19 test.

Mayor Courtney stated that he and his wife are doing fine, and they appreciate all of the calls and support that they are receiving while they are in quarantine. He also took this time to encourage all Jefferson County residents to be COVID-19 tested and to follow all CDC guidelines that are in effect to help slow the spread of the virus.

The City of Madison will be announcing new strategies to “Get Back to Blue” on the state metric map, according to Mayor Courtney these strategies will be a partnership with the entire community.
