(Jefferson County, Ind.) - If you have ideas for the future of Jefferson County, you are asked to share them at a public meeting on March 2.

This is for the Jefferson County Comprehensive Plan which began in June of 2019 that is being developed over the course of the next 12 months, with the final plan examining the future possibilities and establishing a defined direction or vision for the community.

When adopted this plan will serve as the official roadmap to guide both development and growth in Jefferson County.

As part of the public workshop, attendees can provide feedback on the draft vision statement and goals, and then prioritize the recommendations for the plan. The Jefferson County Comprehensive Plan’s goals and recommendations are based on community feedback and public workshops.

The workshop is an open house format that allows you to stop by at any point during this family-friendly meeting at the Ivy Tech Madison from 6 to 8:00 p.m. on March 2.

For more information, you can visit the website, or contact David Bramer at david.bramer@jeffersoncounty.in.gov , or at 812-265-8944.
