It is asked that you please bring an ID and separate proof of address, such as a water bill, phone bill, etc.
(Madison, Ind.) - On Friday, May 22 the Salvation Army will be distributing free boxes of food.
This will be in a drive-through style format from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. the boxes will be available for one per family.
It is asked that you please bring an ID and separate proof of address, such as a water bill, phone bill, etc. If more than one family is represented in the same vehicle and you do not bring a proof of address, that vehicle will only receive one food box.
Residents are allowed to pick up for a senior and are asked to bring a letter from the senior giving you permission to get their food box along with their ID and proof of address.
Those who are going to pick up their boxes can enter the drive-through at the corner of Walnut St. and 3rd St., going towards the river.
There will be traffic cones, barricades, and volunteers directing traffic.
