Madison Police searching for Brandon M. Stephens Wanted in connection with a shooting which occurred in the early morning hours Thursday

In the early morning hours of October 10, 2019 the Madison Police Department responded to the Central Tavern, 301 Mulberry Street, in reference to a gunshot. When Officers arrived they learned that Brandon Stephens, age 42, had pointed a firearm at a female and fired it, narrowly missing the victim. The incident is still under investigation by Madison Police Department Detectives. Based on the information discovered throughout the investigation, an arrest warrant has been issued for Brandon Stephens.

Brandon Stephens should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. If you were a witness to or have any information regarding the incident, please contact Madison Police Department Detectives Ricky Harris or Kyle Cutshaw. If you see Brandon Stephens out and about, please call 911.

Criminal charges are merely accusations, and all individuals are to be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
