Madison Police Department arrested three on Sunday on various charges, including drugs.

Reckless Driving And Altercation Leds to Three Arrest

At approximately 7:20PM Madison Police Patrolman Cameron Blankenship executed a traffic stop on Windridge Drive for reckless driving.  The driver was identified as Angela L. Youngblood 52, Hanover, Indiana.  As Youngblood was attempting to locate proper paper work, for the vehicle in which she was operating, officers observed a clear plastic baggie in plain view.  The baggie contained a white substance which tested positive as methamphetamine.  

Angela L. Youngblood was taken into custody and charged with possession of methamphetamine and reckless driving.  Blankenship was assisted by Madison Police Officers Josh Nolan, Trent Smith, and Curtis Shelpman.  Youngblood has the presumption of innocence until other proven guilty.

At approximately 8:40PM Brian J. Luibel 44, Franklin, Ohio and Amanda Jo. Beard 29, Aurora, Indiana, were taken into custody as the result of a domestic altercation.  Madison Police Officers responded to the 500 block of E. Third Street reference a domestic altercation.  The investigation revealed that both parties were mutual combatants in the incident.  

Madison Police K-9 Officer Brad Demaree, and his K-9 partner "Champi" responded to the scene to conduct an open air sniff of the vehicle in which both parties had been traveling in. "Champi" gave a positive indication for the presence of narcotics.  During the subsequent search, officers located methamphetamine and paraphernalia associated with the use of drugs.  

Brian J. Luibel and Amanda Jo Beard faces preliminary alleged charges of - battery, possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.  Luibel and Beard both have the presumption of innocence until otherwise proven guilty.  

Patrolman Cameron Blankenship led the investigation with the assistance of Season Jackson, Trent Smith, Demaree and "Champi"
