Madison Police arrest three on drug related charges following two separate traffic stops.

Innocent until proven guilty

                                         

May 1, 2023, Madison Police arrested  Kendra L. Davis 32, Madison, Indiana, for L-6 felony possession of a legend drug and possession of paraphernalia class C misdemeanor,  Davis was arrested following a traffic stop executed by Madison Police Officer Phillip Wimpee.  K-9 Officer Nichole Midgett and her partner Cain assisted.  Cain conducted an open air sniff around the exterior of the vehicle, giving his handler a positive indication for the presence of narcotics. During the subsequent probable cause search, officers located narcotics. Davis was taken into custody without incident, and has the presumption of innocence until otherwise proven guilty. 

May 2, 2023, Madison Police arrested Dekota M. Gray 28, Madison, Indiana and Seth D. McFadden 25 Vevay, Indiana for possession of methamphetamine L-6 felony.  Madison Police Officer Camerson Blanenship executed a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Gray, in which Mcfadden was a passenger, at the corner of Second / Mill Streets.  Officer Midgett and her K-9 patner Cain assisted.  The canine conducted an open air sniff around the exterior of the vehicle and gave his handler a positive indication for the presence of narcotics.  During the subsequent probable cause search, officers located methamphetamine.  Both Gray and McFadden were taken into custody and have the presumption of innocence until otherwise proven guilty.
