Madison Police Arrest Local Man For Indecent Exposure

Madison Indiana- June 1, 2021, @ approximately 1:24 AM Madison Police responded to the Lowe's Parking Lot reference a nude male.  Lieutenant Season Jackson was the first officer on scene and located Travis L. Jones 40, Madison, Indiana.  Jones was found to be, as the caller reported, nude and acting bazaar.  Jones rushed toward Lieutenant Jackson's squad car and attempted to keep her door shut, as the officer attempted to exit her vehicle.  

Patrolman Brian Ashcraft arrived on scene and was able to divert Jones' attention away from Jackson's vehicle.  Both officers exited their cars and attempted to take Jones into custody.  Jones aggresively resisted which required the deployment of a taser.  Jones continued to resist, however after several taser deployments, officers were able to take him into custody.  

Travis L. Jones faces preliminary alleged charges of PUBLIC NUDITY class A misdemeanor - RESISTING LAW ENFORCEMENT class A misdemeanor - CRIMINAL CONFINEMENT level 6 felony.    All charges are alleged and Jones has the presumption of innocence until otherwise proven guilty
