Madison Man Killed When Struck By Vehicle

The investigation is ongoing.  

(Madison, Ind.) - Madison Police were called to the scene of a reported accident where a pedestrian was struck on September 28. 

Madison police have reported that a vehicle being driven by Casey M. Daulton, 28, of Kentucky was turning Eastbound onto Main Street, from North Jefferson Street, when her vehicle struck Christopher N. Wright 58, Madison, who was walking Northbound across Main Street.

Witnesses and bystanders on the scene administered first aid to Mr. Wright prior to the arrival of police and EMS.  Wright was transported to KDH-ER where he later died from injuries sustained in the accident.  

Madison Police Officer Brad Demaree is leading the investigation.  Toxicology reports are pending, which is standard procedure in accidents involving serious bodily injury or death. The investigation is ongoing.
