Madison Man Arrested After Pursuit that Started in Austin

Felony Charges Pending Following Pursuit Plus Wanted on Warrant

A Madison man is facing numerous felony charges after leading police on a two county pursuit which started in Austin and came to an end just outside of Kent when the man wrecked his car. Kenny Freeman age 39 was arrested  two counts of Battery-Resulting in Injury to a Public Safety Official, both Level 5 felonies; one count of Battery to a Public Safety Official, Resisting Law Enforcement by Vehicle or Deadly Weapon and Possession of Methamphetamine, all Level 6 felonies; as well as Resisting Law Enforcement, Possession of Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana, all misdemeanors. He also has the warrant from Jefferson County. He is currently in the Scott Co Jail.
