Week of November 26th
I am good-natured and have good manners.
I walk well on leash and have learned 'come' while at the shelter.
I am super clean in my kennel, so I may be housebroken or will learn my new routine easily.
I appear to be good with other dogs.
I do get upset when another pet gets extra attention, so I will need to be taught how to not be so jealous.
I will also need to be fed separately.
I am great with cats, just keep them away from my food dish.
I came to the shelter with my puppies. All my puppies have found homes and I would really like one of my own.
I'm a 3- to 4-year-old, fawn-colored Boxer mix with soulful eyes.
I currently weigh 40 lbs and am looking forward to getting my girlish figure back soon with your help.
I'm up-to-date on my vaccinations. My adoption fee is $30 plus the cost of my spay.
I would make a great family pet! I think I would get along with children really well.
I enjoy being active, but I have a calm demeanor.
I walk well on leash and I'll try to please you.
I know 'sit' and I'm currently doing well learning 'stay'.
I seem to do fine with cats and other dogs.
I'm what's called a Lurcher. That's a mix of a sight hound and a working breed.
They're guessing my blood line is from a Greyhound.
My brindle coat is pretty. In the light it has a pastel quality to it.
I'm a 3- to 5-year-old male who weighs 49 lbs.
I have a cute habit of sucking on my blanket like a pacifier.

- The shelter accepts both STEEL and ALUMINUM cans. The funds made with recycling go into our medical fund. Please rinse out the steel cans well (we don't want to encourage not-so-adoptable critters to hang out around the shelter) and place them in a separate bag from the aluminum cans. Drop both types of cans (remember, in separate bags) in the large labeled bin that is on the east side of the shelter - that's to your left when facing the shelter's front door.
- The shelter is part of the Kroger rewards program. To participate, register your Kroger card at www.krogercommunityrewards.com and enter NPO number 63224.
- Support the shelter every time you walk your dog through the Walk for a Dog cell phone app available at Google Play or the Apple App Store. The shelter is listed asthe Madison-Jefferson Animal Shelter.
