(Madison, Ind.) – A travel watch is currently in effect for counties in the WIKI 95.3 listening area.

The Indiana Department of Homeland Security lists Switzerland, and Ripley Counties under an “orange” travel watch. As orange watch means that conditions are threatening to the safety of the public, and only essential travel to and from work or emergency situations is recommended.

Jefferson, Jennings, and Scott counties are under a “yellow” travel watch. This means that routine travel or activities are restricted in some areas where the conditions are deemed hazardous.

Drivers in both color zones should use caution while on the roadways.
