This week is Severe Weather Preparedness Week in the Hoosier state.
Through Saturday, residents are encouraged to ensure their families are prepared for severe weather ahead of its peak season.
As part of those efforts, the Indiana Broadcasters Association and National Weather Service will sound an Emergency Alert System test at 10:15 a.m. today.
A Live Tornado Drill will also occur at this time, lasting as long as 15 minutes.
