Had severe weather last week, were you prepared

If you're in Indiana be sure to participate in the statewide tornado drill this morning.

Practice when the weather is quiet so you'll know exactly what to do when storms threaten. #INwx

This week is Severe Weather Preparedness Week in the Hoosier state.

Through Saturday, residents are encouraged to ensure their families are prepared for severe weather ahead of its peak season.

As part of those efforts, the Indiana Broadcasters Association and National Weather Service will sound an Emergency Alert System test at 10:15 a.m. today.

A Live Tornado Drill will also occur at this time, lasting as long as 15 minutes.
