LEADERSHIP JEFFERSON COUNTY ACCEPTING APPLICANTS FOR 2023 CLASS

Applications Are Due October 31, 2022

MADISON, IN - Leadership Jefferson County, a program housed at the Community Foundation of Madison & Jefferson County, is now accepting applications for the 2023 course. The course consists of 10 biweekly sessions that will help participants have a better understanding of resources and relationships in the community. Throughout the course, community members and topic experts will speak and share their insights. All sessions will be held from 8am to 1pm, with lunch provided, and meeting locations will vary. Leadership Jefferson County is an action project that evolved from Envision Jefferson County.

“Leadership Jefferson County was created to help cultivate leaders in our community,” said Leadership Jefferson County Steering Committee Chair Marta Belt. “What better way to help these leaders than by giving them a deeper understanding of organizations and resources within Jefferson County.”

Applications to participate must be received by October 31, 2022. Applications are available online at https://www.cfmjc.org/ljc, or can be picked up at the Community Foundation office at 416 West Street, Madison, Indiana. Selected participants will pay a $250 enrollment fee prior to beginning the course. Sessions and dates for the upcoming course include:

January 10, 2023 - Introduction & Orientation

January 24, 2023 - Education

February 7, 2023 - History

February 21, 2023 - Agriculture & Natural Resources

March 7, 2023 - Healthcare

March 28, 2023 - Industry & Economic Development

April 4, 2023 - Business & Economics

April 18, 2023 - Social Services

May 2, 2023 - Tourism

May 16, 2023 - Government Agencies & Organizations

May 30, 2023 - Feedback Session & Recognition Luncheon
