Larry Duke Being Inducted Into Hanover College Sports Hall of Fame

Broadcasting Panther Sports Over 30 Years

                                                         Larry Duke

Larry, the voice of the Panthers, started covering Hanover athletics in 1984 when he called his first football contest on WORX with Bob Sieman and has now been on the air for nearly 400 football games, including nine NCAA contests and three NAIA.

Football isn't the only sport he broadcast, Larry can also be heard on the sidelines of basketball games where he has broadcasted 17 men's NCAA games including three Sweet 16 appearances and a trip to the Elite Eight that saw him shout his now famous Holy Cow call following a last second Wes McKinney shot. Larry hasn't stopped there, during his time with the Panther athletic department he has broadcasted four women's basketball NCAA tournament berths as well as been on the call for baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, and most recently volleyball games.

Larry has dedicated his time not for glory for himself but for his love of Hanover College athletics and the families of the student-athletes who are not able to attend. Larry, recently retired from WIKI radio but continues to be the voice of the Panthers.

He currently still broadcast games for WIKI Country as well during the Football and Basketball season.

CONGRATULATIONS LARRY ON THIS ACCOMPLISHMENT FROM YOUR 95.3 WIKI FAMILY
