Kentucky State Police Make Arrest in Stolen Vehicle Investigation

New Castle, Ky. (03/08/2022)– On Sunday March 06, 2022 at approximately 9:24 am Kentucky State Police Post 5 in Campbellsburg received a call in reference to a stolen vehicle.  It was reported that the victim's truck had been stolen from his residence in New Castle earlier the same morning.  A trooper responded and obtained the necessary information to begin the investigation.

At approximately 12:05 pm the same date Post 5 received a call from someone who was familiar with the situation that advised he believed he had seen the vehicle.  KSP Post 5 personnel responded to the area where the vehicle was reported to be at. Troopers located the vehicle at 401 South Property Road. 

As a result of the preliminary investigation Halen Puckett, a 28 year old male of New Castle, was arrested.  Mr. Puckett was charged with Receiving Stolen Property and lodged at the Oldham County Detention Center.  The investigation is ongoing and being conducted by Kentucky State Police Post 5 troopers.
