Kentucky Man Arrested For Child Solicitation

Intention of meeting a teenage girl

                                        

September 2, 2023, Madison Police arrested James G. Tuttle 43, Saint Charles Kentucky, for one count of child solicitation L-4 felony and one count of sexual misconduct with a minor L-4 felony.  James Tuttle was taken into custody without incident, after traveling to Madison, with the intention of meeting a fourteen-year-old girl for a sexual encounter. 

Tuttle reached out to an undercover Madison Police Detective and planned to meet, what he thought was a fourteen-year-old girl, at a pre-determined location.  Tuttle showed up as arranged, where he was taken into custody by Madison Police Detective Shawn Scudder and Jefferson County Sheriff Detective Tom Webster. 

James G. Tuttle is currently incarcerated at the Jefferson County, Jail and has the presumption of innocence until otherwise proven guilty.   Madison Police Officer Nichole Midgett assisted Detective Scudder with the investigation.
