Kentucky County Clerks Preparing For Computer System Changeover

All transactions for motor vehicles need to be completed by Dec 28th

The State of Kentucky will be closing all County Clerks offices January 1- January 12, 2024 for a new computer system. This is a major change to our daily functions.

If you have a December renewal or delinquent expired tags, a transfer, or car liens they need to be completed before December 28 due to holiday schedules. After that date we will NOT be able to process anything motor vehicle until January 12, 2024. We will be open and working the whole time.
