Kentucky Annual Tornado Drill Will Be Conducted March 6th

Part of Severe Weather Preparedness Week

On Wednesday March 6 at 10:07 am is the Commonwealth of Kentucky will conduct their annual Tornado Drill

This will be a chance for schools, businesses, residents to go though their procedures in case of a tornado. and Gallatin Dispatch

Area Police and Emergency Management will set off the weather sirens . They also will make announcements over the radio systems and a phone call to the numbers that have signed up to get emergency notifications.

Remember this is only a drill. Tornados and severe weather can happen in a matter of seconds so please have a plan for your home and/or your place of employment.

March 1-7 is Severe Weather Preparedness Week in Kentucky.
