22nd year of the attack

Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb and Ky Gov Andy Beshear are directing flags to be flown at half-staff in honor of Patriots Day. Today marks the 22nd anniversary of the terror attacks on September 11, 2001. The attacks in New York, Virginia, and Pennsylvania killed nearly 3,000 Americans and injured thousands more. Flags should be flown at half-staff at state facilities until sunset both Governors are asking businesses and residents statewide to lower their flags to half-staff in remembrance of the victims of the 9/11 attacks.
