Jennings Co. Woman Arrested Following a 911 Call

(Jennings County, Ind.) - On Tuesday morning, Jennings County Deputies were dispatched to the South State Rd. 3 in North Vernon Township in reference to a female walking down the middle of the roadway. 

Sgt. Mike Mowrey and Deputy Ian McPherson arrived in the area and located the female, where she stated that she was walking to her cousin's house in Lovett Township. The female was then identified as Sarah M. Darnell, 35, of Commiskey. 

Deputies found that while talking to Darnell she was in possession of Methamphetamine, syringes, prescription pill, and drug paraphernalia. 

Darnell was then arrested and booked into the Jennings County Jail. 

Her charges are as follows:

Possession of Methamphetamine - Level 6 Felony

Possession of a Syringe - Level 6 Felony

Legend Drug Act - Level 6 Felony

Possession of Paraphernalia - B Misdemeanor
