Jennings Co. Sheriff's Office Seizes $30 Thousand Of Heroin/Fentanyl Capsules

(Jennings County, Ind.) – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office seized what is estimated to be over $30,000.00 of heroin/fentanyl capsules in the county on January 14.

This seizure was a multi-state and multi-jurisdictional investigation into the trafficking of narcotics by a large scale criminal organization. These capsules had the potential of creating thousands of potential overdoses and deaths.

This is an ongoing investigation into several states and more information may be provided at a later time.

Sheriff Freeman stated that the sheriff’s office will continue to traffic interdiction enforcement in Jennings County to combat drug trafficking throughout the county.
