Jennings Co. Respond to Single Vehicle Accident

The investigation is still ongoing for the effectiveness of the car seats.

(Jennings County, Ind.) - Yesterday Jennings County Deputies responded to the scene of a personal injury accident. 

The accident occurred on CR 200 East near CR 850 North in Sand Creek Township. Upon arrival, deputies determined that Hannah Marksberry, 22, of Greensburg was driving southbound on CR 200 East when the tires on the passenger side of her vehicle went off the right side of the roadway. 

She then overcorrected the vehicle where she then went off the left side of the roadway, the vehicle then came to a stop after rolling into a utility pole. 

There were also two juvenile passengers as well, ages 2 and 3, who were seriously injured and taken to an Indianapolis hospital. Both were in their car seats at the time of the accident. 

Marksberry didn't seek medical treatment. 

The investigation is still ongoing for the effectiveness of the car seats as well as any possible mechanical issues with the vehicle.
