Jefferson County Sees Drop In April Unemployment Rate

Currently, the unemployment rate in Jefferson County remains lower than that of the state which is 4.2 percent.

(Madison, Ind.) – The Indiana Department of Workforce Development announced today that the Jefferson Counties’ unemployment rate has dropped to 3.6 percent.

Currently, Jefferson County is ranked 41st for unemployment percentage out of Indiana’s 92 counties. Currently, the unemployment rate in Jefferson County remains lower than that of the state which is 4.2 percent.
