No Group Setting Outbreaks

[Madison, IN] Jefferson County will be moving back to an ORANGE advisory level on the Indiana Department of Health County metrics map. ORANGE advisory indicates we are experiencing moderate to high community spread. There are no group setting outbreaks in our county at this time. Advisory levels are factored using two metrics. Metric one is our 7-day positivity rate; metric two is our weekly cases per 100,000 residents. When looking at the State Department of Health Dashboard map at ISDH - Novel Coronavirus: Indiana COVID-19 Dashboard and Map, use the drop-down box next to map filter to see advisory level color. You can use this drop-down box to see our 7-day positivity rate score and our weekly cases per 100,000 resident’s score. These two metrics are averaged to determine our color advisory for the week. If you are sick, please seek testing right away and stay away from others until you know your results. You can receive free testing at the Jefferson County Community Testing Site located at King’s Daughters’ Hospital Convenient Care, 445 Clifty Drive, Madison, IN 47250 812 273-5372, or you can schedule your COVID test by visiting www.coronavirus.in.gov Breakthrough cases remain at approximately 0.3% across the State with Jefferson County reporting 92 breakthrough cases.
