Jefferson County, Indiana — Kevin Fox, a 31-year-old Jefferson County resident, was sentenced to a 40 year fully executed sentence by Jefferson County Superior Court Judge Blaine Goode. Fox was convicted of Child Molest as a Level 1
Felony.
“Cases like this highlight the devastating impact of child sex crimes,” said Prosecutor David Sutter. “This sentence reflects the gravity of Fox’s actions and our commitment to seeking justice for the victims and holding the perpetrators accountable. We are grateful for the dedicated work of the Madison Police Department, Indiana ICAC Task Force, and our law enforcement partners who made this outcome possible.”
The conviction marked the culmination of an extensive investigation led by the Madison Police Department (MPD) Detectives Kyle Cutshaw and Ricky Harris. Their work, in collaboration with the Indiana State Police uncovered overwhelming evidence leading to Fox's conviction.
The investigation was set in motion by cyber tips received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The apprehension of Fox in Kentucky involved joint efforts with the Kentucky State Police, the U.S. Secret Service, and the Trimble County Sheriff's Office.
