MUNCIE, Ind.— Jefferson County, Indiana, natives Cole Callahan and Emily Holland, Ball State University students in the Department of Telecommunications, helped commemorate the university’s storied history through the Centennial documentary, “From Normal to Extraordinary: Ball State’s First Century.”

The duo worked with a team of 40 students led by Christopher Flook, telecommunications lecturer and faculty adviser for the immersive learning project. Their documentary debuts Sept. 6 at the university’s Centennial kickoff event.

The Centennial documentary has been in production since the summer of 2017, when research and script writing began. The documentary includes interviews with historians, past presidents and notable alumni. Callahan and Holland had a hands-on role in the production of the documentary.

The documentary and kickoff event are just two of efforts to celebrate the University’s proud past and bright future. To learn more about Ball State’s Centennial, visit:  Ball State’s Centennial
