Jefferson County Council Approves Two Economic Development Projects

Approved some funding but denied till more information obtained

The Jefferson County Council recently approved funding for two economic development projects, which included a professional service contract for a design for a campground at the Former Jefferson Proving Ground and for participation in a regional trails group for southeastern Indiana. 

The council tabled a request for $ 5,000 dollars for the county's contribution for the Placer Data Services that is being used to track visitors in and around Jefferson County, the council was to obtain more information before approving that funding.
