Jefferson Co. Sheriff's Department Needs Assistance In Locating Suspect Vehicle

The suspect vehicle will be a dark green or dark-colored Jeep Cherokee.

(Jefferson County, Ind.) - The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department is requesting assistance from the public in locating a vehicle. 

Around 5:00 p.m. yesterday, the sheriff's department responded to a serious bodily injury car vs. pedestrian accident in the area of Interstate Block Road and Borcherding Road.

The suspect vehicle will be a dark green or dark-colored Jeep Cherokee. The vehicle will have damage on the passenger side and will either have a broken windshield or side window. 

According to people that live on Interstate block, the Jeep drives in the area frequently at a high rate of speed.
