A Deputy with the Jennings County Sheriff's Office was on patrol in the area of Highway 50 East in Butlerville, when a passenger van crossed the centerline and nearly struck his patrol vehicle head-on.

The Deputy initiated a traffic stop, where he made contact with Natasha Goins, the Jennings County Jail Commander. The Deputy observed signs of alcohol impairment and immediately notified the Indiana State Police, who then took over the investigation.

After the investigation, Natasha Goins was arrested and booked into the Ripley County Jail.
