Individual Income Tax Rates To Increase In Switzerland County

The Indiana Department of Revenue says six counties will see income tax rates increase in 2021.

(Indianapolis, Ind.) – According to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development (DWD), six Indiana counties will be seeing an increased rate in their 2021 income taxes.

One of those six counties seeing an increase is Switzerland County.

According to the DWD, the new income tax rate in Switzerland County will now stand at 0.0125, up from 0.01.

This new rate will take effect on January 1, 2021.

The county tax rates for individuals are based on the Indiana county of which the employee resides as of January 1. For those individuals who are not Indiana residents on January 1, county tax rates will be based on the individual’s county of principal business or employment on January 1.
