Indiana Arts Commission is taking Proposals for 2020 Conference

(Indianapolis, Ind.) - The Indiana Arts Commission is inviting individuals or organizations to give a session proposal for its annual art conference.

The Indiana Arts Homecoming will be held on October 15 and 16 in Columbus, Indiana, is a two- day gathering of artists, art educators, art organizations, art advocates, as well as community members.

The event provides knowledge, tools, and step-by-step strategies, and a compelling call to action.

Theming of this year’s conference is “Indiana Arts: Share You Stories” and will empower attended to advocate for change, equip attendees to craft their unique story, build leadership and capacity for their arts practice or organization, and inspire action through a story.

The conference Steering Committee is looking for proposals that provide learning related to the theme.

Experienced as well as first-time presenters are encouraged to submit a proposal.

The IAC will also be hosting a “Q &A and Tips for Proposal Submission” webinar on March 5, 2020, at 10 a.m. Proposals are due on April 2, 2020, at 5 p.m. and advanced registration is requested.
