Highpoint Health Announces Open House, Ribbon Cutting For New Vevay Facility

Vevay Family Medicine and Vevay Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine are hosting a Ribbon Cutting and Open House for the community on Thursday, November 21, at their new facility located at 1035 W. Main Street. The celebration will begin with a ribbon cutting at 3:30 p.m., followed by the Open House which will run through 6:00 p.m. Tours of the new facility and light refreshments will be provided.

Those attending the event will have the opportunity to meet Family Medicine Physician Melissa Mefford, M.D., and Nurse Practitioner Sheri Roberts, NP-C, as well as Physical Therapist Tammy Gray, MPT, and Physical Therapist Assistant/Athletic Trainer Jennifer Bostic, PTA, LAT/ATC, along with their respective staff members.

A native of Switzerland County, Dr. Mefford began seeing patients at the new Vevay facility in late October. She is welcoming patients of all ages, from newborns through geriatrics. Nurse Practitioner Sheri Roberts, who has cared for patients in the Vevay area for the past several years, has relocated her practice to the new facility and now sees patients on a full-time basis. Ms. Roberts is also accepting new patients of all ages.

Under the direction of Tammy Gray, MPT, Vevay Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine offers a comprehensive array of preventive and rehabilitative services for those of all activity levels including children, high-level athletes and geriatric patients. Ms. Gray is assisted in providing care by Jennifer Bostic, PTA, LAT/ATC, also a native of Switzerland County.

Vevay Family Medicine and Vevay Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine are part of the Highpoint Health and Highpoint Health Physician Partners network of care providers.
