(Madison, Ind.) - Habitat for Humanity of Jefferson County (HFHJCI) once again has partnered with Hanover College by giving students an opportunity to explore methods that can help HFHJCI continue to grow.
Students of Hanover's Non-Profit Management program gave presentations on Monday on ways that HFHJCI can continue to boost marketing, fundraising, and volunteer initiatives. The goal of this presentation was to help lay the groundwork for extensive analysis during the strategic planning process for HFHJCI.
“This is one of many examples of our desire to partner with organizations in our community and the relationship we have with Hanover has been an invaluable experience not only for Habitat but also our staff and clients,” said HFHJCI Executive Director Samantha Pierce.
About Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity of Jefferson County was founded in 1993 and our first home was completed in 1996. In 2011, we moved up to Madison’s hilltop and opened the ReStore. In Jefferson County, we’ve helped over 23 families either through new construction or home repair. The organization is committed to construction, advocacy, and home repair with the belief that everyone deserves a decent and affordable place to call home.
