One arrested
Around 4:30 p.m. two people were injured in a head-on collision in the 6300 block of Indiana 56 just west of the Hanover Christian Church and east of Carmel Road.
One of the drivers was arrested for driving while impaired according to Hanover Town Marshall Josh Taylor.
Officier's said a witness told them that the driver of a westbound pickup attempted to make a left turn into a driveway when they collided with an eastbound Toyota sedan.
A injured male in the truck and the female driver of the sedan were taken to King’s Daughters’ Hospital.
The driver of the pickup was taken into custody.
Both lanes of traffic were closed for about 30-45 minutes backing up traffic to Thompson Road in the eastbound lanes.
