(Carrollton, Ky) – The City of Carrollton announced yesterday they will be having trick or treating this year.

The hours will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 31.

Due to the current pandemic, there are a few guidelines that should be followed:

  • It will be up to parents or responsible adults to monitor their children to make sure that they social distance while out trick or treating
  • Masks are highly encouraged

When it comes to trick or treating it is up to each family to decide whether there they feel it is safe to participate or not to participate, and if you do not feel safe to give out candy then it is asked to just keep your door closed.

The city also announced that there will be no city organized sponsored event at the 2 rivers campground. If campers wish to give out candy, they are asked to follow the same guidelines as the city.
