Gas Prices Rise Just In Time For Memorial Day Weekend Travel

Now over $3 a gallon

The traditional work week is drawing to a close with the average price of regular gasoline now exceeding three bucks a gallon. 

According to Triple-A, the fuel has gone up at least seven cents in the last two days and is in the ballpark of a dime higher compared to last Friday. 

And, just a week ahead of Memorial Day weekend, drivers are forking over about 60 cents more for the fuel than a year ago.

According to AAA, prices skyrocketed following President Trump's decision to leave the Iran Nuclear Deal.
