Gallatin Co. Man Arrested On Theft Charges

This arrest occurred on March 30.

(Gallatin County, Ky.) – A Gallatin County man was arrested for theft on March 30.

The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office announced on Tuesday that Constable John Peck was driving along First Street when he witnessed a suspicious subject walking down the sidewalk.

According to the sheriff’s office, by the time Constable Peck circled the block, the subject had materials in his hands that he wasn’t carrying when he was first scene.

The subject had allegedly entered a garage and had stolen several items. The subject was apprehended and the property was recovered and returned.
