(Indianapolis, Ind.) – All Hoosiers are now welcome to get tested for COVID-19 at any of the Optum-operated testing sites across the state.

With testing kits no longer being scarce, Indiana Health Commissioner Dr. Kristina Box announced that any Indiana resident or worker can be tested without being high-risk, exposed to someone testing positive with COVID-19, or an essential worker.

“Our testing capacity has improved significantly since the start of this pandemic and we want Hoosiers to take advantage of that,” said Dr. Box.

Beginning Monday, June 15 anyone living in Indiana, symptomatic or asymptomatic, and any age will be eligible to receive free testing. Those who wish to be tested may visit one of the 204 testing sites in 80% of counties in the state of Indiana.

Those who do not live in Indiana but do work in the state will need to call 1-888-634-1116 to register for testing.
