Flash Flood Watch Till Late Thursday Afternoon

The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a 

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of Indiana and Kentucky, including the following areas, in Indiana, Clark, Crawford, Floyd, Harrison, Jefferson, Perry, Scott, and Washington. In Kentucky, Breckinridge, Bullitt, Hancock, Hardin, Henry, Jefferson, Meade, Oldham, and Trimble. 

* Through Thursday afternoon 

* After this evening's band of heavy rain, additional heavy rain showers and storms are developing now and expected to continue overnight along the Ohio River Valley. 

* An additional two to locally four inches of rain are possible overnight and Thursday morning, which could cause flash flooding.


Instructions:

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation. You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

The area is expected to have several inches of rain over the next several days. For your safety please don't drive through flooded roadways or go around baracades blocking flooded roadways.
