Flags Should Be Lowered To Half-Staff In Honor Of U.S. Capitol Victims

One officer was killed and another injured on Friday at the U.S. Capitol.

(Indianapolis, Ind.) – Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb is directing flags to half-staff.

The governor stated that flags across Indiana should be flown at half-staff in honor of the victims of an attack at the U.S. Capitol on Friday.

An Indiana man, identified as Noah Green, rammed his car into two U.S. Capitol officers. One officer died while another was injured. Green was killed following the attack.

Per the President’s order, flags should be flown at half-staff until sunset on Tuesday, April 6.

Governor Holcomb asks businesses and residents to lower their flags.
