Fishing Season Article Hoax

You are still clear to fish.

(Indiana) - There has been a fake article making round on the popular social media site Facebook saying that Indiana DNR halted public fishing until July. 

This article was a prank article, according to Officer John Thomas, media relations officer with the Indiana DNR, there is no truth to this rumor. 

Fishing is still safe, and you are free to fish whenever you please. Before you start fishing though make sure you have your proper license, which you can find here
