By Jason Long, Chief Milton Fire & Rescue

Wind played problem in fighting the fire

At 6:45 p.m. yesterday Milton and Bedford Fire & Rescue along with Westside Fire Company were dispatched to the report of a structure fire at 421 Culls Ridge Rd.

Crews arrived on scene and found a house fully engulfed by flames.

The homeowner, Brian Marcello and his dog, were able to escape the fire unharmed.

The house was a total loss.

Fire cause has not yet been determined.

High winds yesterday helped fuel the fire causing it to spread fast.
