Federal Law to put any election material into or hang items on mailbox

Kentucky primary May 22nd

The Kentucky Primary is coming up May 22nd and the Carrollton Post Office reminds candidates that it is against Federal Law to put any election material into anyone’s mailbox or hang it on the outside of their mailbox. You must pay postage and mail it.

There have been numerous complaints about this happening. If this happened to you and you want to make a complaint you will have to contact the post office at 732-8862.
