Federal Judge Stops Indiana From Purging Voter List Before November

Not to remove people from voter list who are also registered to vote in other states

There will likely be questions about who's allowed to vote in Indiana this fall.

A federal judge yesterday ordered Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson not to remove people from Indiana's voter list who are also registered to vote in other states.

Lawson says there's no reason to think that maintaining the list is political in nature.

She said that no one has been removed from Indiana's voter registration list who should not have been.
